This piece tells the story of a woman’s body, both past and present. When we look at ourselves in the mirror, we see things we are unhappy about, things we wish to change, 
things we want to make “prettier.” This sculpture was done to showcase our scars in a stunning, gleaming, and imperfect manner. We carry the weight of the world around with us. We are bruised both internally and externally, along with cuts, scars, and all other flaws that we work so hard to cover up each day. This dazzling piece is a reminder to embrace your body and its inward and outward appearance, because there is no such thing as a body unscathed.
